It's pretty undeniable at this point that climate change is occurring. Whether or not it is man-induced is not particularly relevant to the need to be able to spread awareness, plan, and do something about it - if not to change or reverse it, then to adapt to it and overcome it.
In that light, Gore has done more than anyone else to raise awareness, and deserves accolades. The Nobel is appropriate in my opinion.
I say that as someone who has never, in my life, registered democrat.
